Clarita De Quiroz is an artist signed by Sony, has been nominated for and received several awards. Like any artist worth their salt, Clarita’s music is the result of many things. Raised in Scotland to Filipino/Spanish and Dutch/Irish parents, as a child of the 80’s, it’s no wonder that her music sounds the way it does. Influenced by everyone from Nina Simone and Al Green to The Roots, Angie Stone and Jill Scott. Pinpointing the beginning of her musical career as a child she vividly remembers being mysteriously drawn from her bed to play the piano in her living room from the tender age of four.

Clarita de Quiroz has been a successful international commercial and beauty model since 2008 as well as a musician. She has appeared in the ‘City of Life’ movie in the UAE featuring Jaaved Jaafri and Jason Flemyng and Dubai Global Tourism Commercials.
Clarita de Quiroz has been the face of Crafft AC Commercials UAE, Guerlain makeup UAE, Ultimo Lingerie, MAC cosmetic makeup UAE, Men’s Fitness Magazine, became the face of Val Saint Lambert Belgium crystal in October 2009.
Clarita de Quiroz was chosen by Sir Elton John’s management to be his support artist for the UAE Performance. In March 2012 Clarita was also awarded ‘Best Singer of the UAE 2012’ by GR8! TV and Magazine awards; a prestigious award running for more than 11 years.
In February 2011 Clarita de Quiroz was privileged to have been awarded the accolade as being one of Ahlan Hot 100 2011, where she performed live on stage entertaining the guests with a mix of her own composed music and a selection of chart topping covers. During this performance, Clarita had a very special guest that joined her on stage as lead vocalist, this special guest was Sheila Ferguson, previously from the band 3 Degrees. Clarita is now sponsored by Galaxy Piano.
Other performances in 2011 from Clarita have included, L’Official Woman on the Year Award, Esquire Magazine Awards, Woman of Substance Awards, and the 21st Century Leaders Awards alongside Macy Gray as well as two live performances in national television in the UAE on both MBC and Dubai One.
Clarita de Quiroz is about to embark on a collaboration with a number of international producers to launch her “Full Album”.
“As a musician, I am constantly looking for inspiration through life, friends, experience and other music to help my discovery of my craft. I want to take the colours from all around me in all shapes and forms and transform this into musical composition. Like life, my music will evolve with me; I am constantly exploring for new treasures and experience which will shape my life, as well as my music. In the process of this musical voyage, I wish to touch people in a way that my music resonates through their souls, and reach levels bigger than the eye can see. Escapism, reconnection, emancipation, discovery and all other feelings should come through all of us with everything we love and are passionate about. It’s great to listen to music, but to FEEL it, is what I am talking about. Where words end, music speaks.
